I thought the weather was going to be more like Wednesday (read: not too much humidity to melt off my skin) so I opted for pants. It wasn’t that hot out, but I still would have preferred a nice little breeze between the legs. Luckily, I liked what I was wearing so it was worth it. Also luckily, I went to Vapiano for lunch and it was wish-I-brought-my-winter-coat freezing in there.

I also tried a new hairstyle today, but I’m pretty sure no one noticed. It’s just french braids on both sides of my head. I saw it on Cupcakes and Cashmere and thought maybe I’d try it! I’m not trying to make anyone who saw me that day feel bad that they didn’t notice- seeing anything on a head of curly hair is pretty tough. Also I could probably use some practice in making the braid look better. Promise it’s there.

Do you ever regret putting on long pants on a hot day? Or do you like how it will at least keep you warm when you enter a restaurant with a North Pole atmosphere?
